Who can join UA Village?

Membership is open to residents 50 and older who live within the boundaries of Upper Arlington.
Can a Village exist if there's already a community or senior center? Yes! In fact, most villages exist in an area where these centers are also in place. The strength of a Village is that it is designed to meet the evolving needs identified by residents that are otherwise unmet.
What is my investment to belong to UA Village?

UA Village members invest $30/month ($360/year).  Free and reduced memberships are available to those in need. Please contact UACOA Executive Director, Jennifer Cameron, for details before submitting your application.

Why is there a membership fee? Your fee, combined with outside grants, supports coordination of services, as well as most of the events and activities we host.
I don't think UA Village is right for me. That's OK!  If things change, we will be here as an additional resource as you age in UA.
How many members are in UA Village? More every day! Villages that have been around for years have hundreds of members - but it takes time. The more friends you invite to join us, the faster we will grow.
If I'm not a Village member, can I still attend UA Commission on Aging events or utilitze their services? Absolutely! UACOA events and resources remain available to all UA residents.
